"There is no more greater thing you can do for someone than to not expect anything in return"

Fancy says "I was alone and now I have a home!"

Find forever Homes
From Alone to a Home
Provide Community Services including TNR work.
Provide for medical services for community cats including emergency care.
Assist in finding of lost cats and reuniting them with their owners (see below)
Through a team of dedicated volunteers, feed several colonies of feral colony cats that have been TNR'd fresh wet and dry food with water on a daily basis.
Build winter shelter boxes providing a warm safe place for community cats to take refuge from the elements. We will also purchase heated shelters for the elderly community. Many thanks to W& J College students for helping with the project last year.

Socialization Process
There are times when a cat is brought in, is feral, but cannot return to the area (TNR) due to dangerous conditions or no food/shelter available. We, at Sonya's Hope, have a team of very dedicated people who do what some believe is impossible, and that is socialize them. Feral cats are not aggressive when they lash out, they are acting out in fear (what has kept them alive outside) and are fighting for what they believe is their lives. Our volunteers spend many days, sometimes many months to help them understand that we are here to help them. What a joy it is to see their hard work come to fruition when they are adopted into loving homes! All of the cats below were once feral and are now very friendly house cats.
